In the CHALLENGE IDENTIFICATION stage we are going to find and talk about problems in our neighbourhood.

 

 

2.1. BRAINSTORMING PLENARY

In the neighbourhood, village, town, city… where you live (in the school where you study) there are probably some problems you would like to solve to live in “The neighbourhood of your dreams”.
Think about those problems. Did you find one? Stand up and take a post-it the teacher has brought and write your idea/s there. Then stand up again and stick it/them on the board. When you are thinking about the problems in your neighbourhood, take into account your interests and hobbies.

2.2. WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?

Now, we can see that there are a lot of challenges on the board. Your teacher is going to write a list with the challenges that the class members wrote. Choose four, the ones you prefer and fill in the table below. Include the causes and consequences of the problem, how you feel about it and your interests and needs related to the topic.
